Terrifying Virus Attack Yesterday

Posted in
Well, this was a lesson to me, NOT TO DOWNLOAD AND OPEN ANY UNKNOWN ATTACHMENTS =(

I downloaded an attachment from "FedEx" without realising it was a fraud.

The virus first flooded my anti virus software, overwrites my system registry, disabling my task manager and next deleted my hard disk driver.

Next, it deleted my shortcuts. Forcing me to shutdown my pc and turn on safe mode on PC. *Lucky I'm a technician myself*

I didn't get the virus name because it all happened too fast. =( My University assignments are in the harddisk, hoping it won't get deleted. While in safe mode, I took out my important stuff from the hdd and into my external. (Luckily it haven't got deleted)

I had been forced to reformat my comp =( But the brightside is
It looks better than my old desktop =)

PS: The "FedEx" virus is in the wild. Watch out everyone!

Exploration : Taman Tasik Perdana & Tugu Negara

Posted in
The last Friday, the Taylors FnBE March Intake Group had a trip to Taman Tasik Perdana (Lake Garden). The aim? It is to get an inspiration on texture and patterns. Basically, we were sent there to do research on vegetation, rocks and water qualities.

Whats in my camera...

Repetitive pattern on the bridge creates unity and balance

Light, an element of design, shows the smooth texture on the leaves

Water quality... blurred a little due to camera quality =(
However, it still shows movement and rough texture

After spending several minutes in the park, we travelled next to the National Monument, which is just opposite the park's main entrance. So, we continued our exploration on patterns...

The tiles on the floor shows balance and stability due to symmetrical design on axis

The wall's design in the national monument, promotes lighting effect

However, we still need to do our assignment after the trip. The task was to sketch 4 bookmarks, using the texture and pattern that we found throughout the trip

and thats me... =)

Waiting for JPA results

Updating a Dead Blog

Posted in
It had been a year since I last updated my blog. So its time to clear up some dust.

I'm currently studying in Taylors Lakeside in Subang Jaya, studying Foundation in Built Environment (FnBE)

Assignments, Assignments, that's the thing that had been ringing in my ear. So, for today, maybe I'll post some of my works!

My "Introduction to Construction Industry" assignment...

"Clearly, programming courses should teach methods of design and construction, and the selected examples should be such that a gradual development can be nicely demonstrated."
Niklaus Wirth

Thats is my assignment 1A, well basically my assignment was about roles of people in the construction industry and the construction process. Therefore, I used RIBA's procedure as the main point to fit in my assignment =)

This is my assignment 1B

The task was to do a research about an architecture firm, so I chose Tate Snyder Kimsey to research about. Well, not much to say here, after all, the information needed is all in Tate Snyder Kimsey's website.

Thats bout todays post, I'll try my best to update again =)
Thanks Bye!!
