Exploration : Taman Tasik Perdana & Tugu Negara

Posted in
The last Friday, the Taylors FnBE March Intake Group had a trip to Taman Tasik Perdana (Lake Garden). The aim? It is to get an inspiration on texture and patterns. Basically, we were sent there to do research on vegetation, rocks and water qualities.

Whats in my camera...

Repetitive pattern on the bridge creates unity and balance

Light, an element of design, shows the smooth texture on the leaves

Water quality... blurred a little due to camera quality =(
However, it still shows movement and rough texture

After spending several minutes in the park, we travelled next to the National Monument, which is just opposite the park's main entrance. So, we continued our exploration on patterns...

The tiles on the floor shows balance and stability due to symmetrical design on axis

The wall's design in the national monument, promotes lighting effect

However, we still need to do our assignment after the trip. The task was to sketch 4 bookmarks, using the texture and pattern that we found throughout the trip

and thats me... =)

Waiting for JPA results
